Coopers Hideaway is perfect! The location is so peaceful, lots of stunning walks from your doorstep and Castle Douglas is a short drive away for shops and EV charging. We visited Kirkcudbright, that's a lovely village. I was blown away with how clean and tidy the hideaway is, I really felt at home and it was lovely to come back to relax after a day exploring. I cooked a few times and had everything I needed. I found a yoga class in Dalbeattie and Susie Gale is less than a 10 min walk for private pilates. For food, the Anchor Inn and Loch Arthur farmshop/cafe are amazing and super dog friendly. I honestly cannot wait to return, there is so much to do and the walks differ each day. I'd highly recommend booking, Shona is a lovely host, you will not be disappointed.

Great caravan for us to stay in (family of 4 with 1 small dog). Well equipped with everything we needed. The wifi was excellent and very handy for the 2 teenagers. Good tarmac parking space and caravan decking made unloading/packing much easier in the rain. Thank you for a lovely stay and the welcome goodies 😊

If your undecided on where to stay in kippford I really recommend you make this lovely caravan your final choice, it has many benefits with the location being top of the list! I travelled with my partner my 16 month old son and my Labrador & found it such a safe environment and space for my child and dog, it was nice being able to have a cup of tea knowing they could safely play on the decking and in the caravan without breaking anything, or hurting themselves. Reading the reviews before I went I noticed how many people are return guests and I completely understand why. South west Scotland is a beautiful place, our first time visiting! We will absolutely be back, so much to do for kids/dogs and beautiful walks surrounding the entire areas. Next time we will do a more lengthy stay because we didn’t even touch on half the things we wanted to do. I’ve stayed in many air bnbs and this is without a doubt one of my favourite destinations we have been too. Shona is a brilliant host.
