Beautifully remodeled, stylishly-furnished 2 bedroom/1 bathroom upper apartment in a quiet complex in upscale and desirable Bixby Knolls. Just steps to the multi-million dollar estates in Los Cerritos/Virginia Country Club (Ferris Bueller's Day Off, American Pie movies filmed here to name a few). Completely remodeled in 2020 with an awesome kitchen, upgraded bathroom, refinished original hardwood floors, mini-split AC and heat unit in the living room and modern-style ceilings fans. We have new space heaters with fans and electric blankets for our Winter season guests too! Fully furnished in mid-century modern furniture with West Elm couch, 2 arm chairs and modern dining table with seating for 4. There is a 42-inch Smart HDTV with Roku TV so you can connect to your streaming TV subscriptions. The kitchen has new cabinets, white quartz counters, stainless appliances with gas range, dishwasher and fridge with ice. Kitchen is fully stocked with Keurig coffee maker with coffee/tea PODS, plates/bowls/cups/silverware, toaster, blender, etc. Both bedrooms have new queen pillow-top beds, dressers, ceiling fans and nightstands. One bedroom has mid century desk for a workspace and 32-inch TV with Fire stick. The remodeled bathroom has shower/tub combo and is stocked with fresh towels, hair dryer, hand soap, travel size soap and shampoo (starters). We have plenty of extra linen, blankets and towels in the hall cabinet. There is an all-in-one washer/dryer in unit and the building has a laundry room completely free of charge. Just behind the building you'll find Trader Joes, Mod Pizza, Jersey Mike's Sandwiches, Crunch Fitness and 7-11. Also, you will find Starbucks, Yogurtland opposite each other as well as MANY other dining/food options including local restaurants - Knolls Restaurant, Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden, Wood and Salt Tavern, Lola's Mexican Cuisine, Taboon Mediterranean, EJ's Pub to name a few. We are just minutes from Long Beach Airport and 20 minutes to LAX or Orange County Airports. Super central location to everything Southern California has to offer! Good place
Great apartment, bathroom could be bigger. But great place!
Eric’s place was very nice. The place is very clean and accommodating. Only minor complaint is having to fight for parking on a daily basis but that is to be expected with the area. Overall, great stay and would definitely stay there again!
We were in town for a conference downtown in Long Beach. The parking spot out back was much appreciated, and it was easy to navigate where we needed to go. Trader Joe’s being right next door was so handy!!
Eric was an amazing host, very accommodating, we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend

Bixby Knolls is located the northern section of Long Beach. The area is a diverse, upscale and suburban with a blend of historic estate homes, modest tract homes and multifamily units - the immediate area is multifamily with single family tract homes 400 ft up the tree-lined street. To the South the street is multifamily then large custom homes on large lots. The property is directly behind a shopping center with Trader Joe's, MOD Pizza, Jersey Mike's, Crunch Fitness and 7-11. There is electric car changing in that parking lot. On Atlantic Avenue, you can walk to Starbucks, Restaurants, Bars, Breweries and Shopping. There is also the famous SteelCraft made of shipping containers with coffee, beer and food vendors and outdoor seating. The property is a straight shot down Atlantic to Downtown Long Beach. There’s so much to nearby to do/see in and around Long Beach!
Long Beach is a bike and pedestrian-friendly city. Check out Atlantic Ave as they have reduced the lanes down to one and have dedicated bike lanes as well. We, of course, have Uber and Lyft thats easily to grab as well as Long Beach Yellow Cab. PLUS, Long Beach has electric scooters and rental bikes on almost every corner! LAX, Long Beach and Orange County Airports are very close, as well as Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm as well as the Aquarium of the Pacific and historic Queen Mary in Downtown Long Beach.
