Great location for piece and quiet

Our group had a fantastic stay at this cabin on Great Pond. The property is in a great location with fantastic views but also privacy. We really enjoyed the fire pit by the water, lounging on the dock, and kayaking the small bay and nearby riparian area. Inside the house was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need (e.g., laundry, etc.) but also still kept a 'camp' feel that we all appreciated. The kitchen was great for preparing and eating meals and we spent the end of every night relaxing and talking by the gas fireplace. I also snuck in some football watching on the big tv. Groceries aren't far away and neither is the coast, apple picking, and other fun activities. The wildlife at the camp was awesome with loons swimming offshore and calling in the evenings and a beaver came to visit right in front of the camp and chomp on acorns it gathered from the bottom of the lake. We would definitely stay here again!!

Growing up with this “camp” in my family, caused my heart to skip a beat when I found it for rent. Sharing my childhood memories with my kids “uptah camp” was so fun. Tod was so accommodating, kind and communicative. Loon Struck camp is as I remember it, but, upgraded; peaceful, private and inviting. Even though it rained all through our stay, the warmth of the skillfully decorated and roomy living spaces made for enjoyable conversations. We will be back next year.

Tod was responsive to communication even before it was up for booking summer 2024 and great communication throughout. Minor issues were immediately addressed (leaky toilet, hammock hook that broke). Fabulous place for 2 families totally 9 people. Great being right on the water. We've stayed other places on Great Pond before, but shallowness of cove and mostly sandy bottom really stood out. Despite that, few mussels on the bottom were sharp. Kids could go out 20 feet from shore and still touch, which helped us from a safety perspective. Would absolutely rent this house again from Todd if we come back. Great value for 2 families or large families. Enjoyed local hikes as well - Highly recommend French's Mountain and Mount Philip Lop for short, steep trails with fabulous views.
