This cabin was absolutely gorgeous and massive! Actually probably too massive for our group of 6. Budget wise much more worthwhile if you have 8 or more. Really cozy and they put a lot of thought into it with the fire pit, jacuzzi (which we didn’t even have time to use- sad!), and little swing seats. It’s the ultimate friend trip cabin- it’s what you want to rent for a big group trip. It’s a ~24 minute drive to Jim Thorpe which was close enough for us as we were hiking that area. I do find it frustrating that we were asked to pay $285 in cleaning fees but had to follow rigorous check out rules that had big fines attached to each one. We did a thorough clean at the end to ensure we met their requirements. I guess that’s what happens when it’s managed by a property management company as opposed to a person. All in all, would rent again. Great place.

This is an amazing mountain house! It is comfortable, well decorated and offers plenty of amenities. We felt right at home! Amanda was so accommodating and has great recommendations. We cannot wait to return!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Amanda's place. It is a beautiful home, nestled on the side of a hill overlooking the Beltzville Lake. It abuts a state park, and there are lots of beautiful trails within a short walk or drive. Be aware that some of the trails are challenging and not appropriate for small children or older adults, and they are not clearly marked as for difficulty. So if you are traveling in a group of different abilities, start in the park parking lots so you can easily turn back when needed. The lake itself is gorgeous. We were here in fall, but still enjoyed the three state recreation and trail areas that surround it. The house itself is BIG, well appointed, and cozy. There are the right number of bathrooms and bedrooms for a group of up to 12. There are two areas for watching TV, a fuzball table, and lots of board games. The open plan on the top floor with the kitchen, dining, and living areas made it easy to cook and play games together.
