Steve and Gabi's place is so good. My wife, 5 year old daughter, poodle and I had the most relaxing time at their great getaway.

Ah, such a beautiful cottage! We spent a cloudy weekend out on the hills with the gas fire roaring, some wine, and cooking fresh Mooloolaba mussels. When the clouds lifted we ducked out to the Mapleton Public House for a sunset and one of the Coast's finest meals, or we stole away to watch thunderclouds roll in over the Glasshouse Mountains. The town of Maleny is just up the road, and we made the most of the sun when it came out at the Obi Obi creek — where the waterfall was raging! There was a surprise just how close the cottage is to the main house, but Gabi and Steve were kind enough to come out and welcome us ( did I mention extremely flexible check in-and-out times? ) and then left us to our peace — and courteous to bring us some salt when the grinder in ours went! The cottage is so truly quaint and contained. We are lucky to have spent time there.
