The Cattleman's Cottage was beautifully presented, well appointed and just what we needed for a couple of days of peaceful R&R. It rained for much of the time we were there but we were content to spend our days lounging and reading by the fire or sitting on the generous deck soaking up the country air. It's very handy to town for a coffee, breakfast, lunch and wander if that's something you want to do. The only thing missing for us was a small webber bbq but the kitchen was equiped with everything we needed to cook our meals - we just like cooking outside. Very comfortable, roomy and clean. Bonus points go to Taj, the beautiful black Labrador who happily shared my biltong.

My partner and I stayed at The Cattleman’s Cottage over the long weekend and it was delightful! Beautiful location and a pristine accomodation with everything you need for your private, peaceful and intimate getaway. Monique’s also easy to communicate with, making our trip super smooth. Would highly recommend.

I highly recommend staying at the Cattlemans Cottage. It’s such a beautiful place with amazing views. The atmosphere is very peaceful and quiet. Even though it was raining on and off, my boyfriend and I had a great time by the fireplace.

Wow! How gorgeous is this cottage?? We loved the view, the layout, fit out and styling of the cottage. It was both spacious and cosy! We had everything we needed for a peaceful, relaxing stay ... with great shops and cafes just down the road if we wanted to get out and about. Monique provided clear, easy to follow instructions for finding and accessing the cottage and gave great local recommendations. The organic teas and coffee were very much appreciated, as was all the makings of a fire on a wet, cold weekend. We weren't able to use the outside fire pit due to the rain but it looked fabulous ... next time! Would highly recommend the Cattleman's Cottage and would love to visit again.
