The room is simple and perfect for what I needed. I appreciated having the room / house as a home base while attending a conference. It’s easily accessible to the highway and downtown if you don’t mind driving.

The bathroom was dirty, there was no trash can liners in the trash can in the bathroom or my room. There were cobwebs in the corners of the walls & bathroom & even on the light fixture in the bathroom. Upon walking into the home, it was very dusty, like it had not been cleaned. I got the impression Brenda does not live here and her boys are the main host and running it. There is a note on the stairs that ask you to remove your shoes before walking up stairs. I did that & by the time I left the downstairs to get to upstairs my socks were full of pet hair. My stay was booked for 3 days. When I got to my room, there was 1 body towel, 1 face towel, and a hand towel for me on my bed. I did not see any soap or shampoo perhaps it was stored somewhere else, but I had my own soap and shampoo. The bed was not comfortable. I stayed in the private room & the bed was slanted at the head. I flipped around and slept with my head at the foot of the bed.

A real gem of a stay. Very clean and comfortable space and was able to get some great rest. Brenda is a super nice host and was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
