The view from the cabin was breathtaking! Mountains upon mountains with a fine lake in the distance. Great place to escape to when you need peace & quiet. The host was very kind and helped us find our way after we got turned around. Apple maps for some reason took us to the wrong gate. We followed them all the way to the house (which like other reviews said was very long and winding, but that’s what mountain roads are like). The only small issues we faced were that the fireplace in the living room didn’t work and that we couldn’t find a coffee maker (just a Keurig). We saw some deer and turkeys and took several walks down the driveway. Overall, a very nice and needed stay for my family.

This is a difficult location to navigate. "Smart" phones are not very smart without service, and this area definitely qualifies, but that is why one goes to such places. Compounding issues is the fact that G@@gle Maps depicts nonexistent roads. You can get there with a front wheel drive car if it has not rained recently. We had four wheel drive, but arriving in the dark complicated matters. I do not recommend an arrival to the mountain after sunset. Upon arrival, the stay was enjoyable and the house acceptably clean. The water from the tap has an odd odor, but filtered water from the fridge was acceptable. That being said, bring your own bottled drinking water. Finally, acquire the hosts phone number as soon as you start your journey and let her know when you intend to arrive. Depending on your location texting/data is hit or miss. Fortunately, the host answered our call immediately and averted a disaster with respect to gaining entry into the property. Happy Travels!

I don’t think I have the words to accurately describe Ann’s cabin! First off.. the view. In all of our stays in the mountains, my whole group agreed we have never seen views like this cabin has! Amazing, majestic.. the pics absolutely do not do it justice. Her cabin is literally at the top of the mountain… and the drive up is just as beautiful. Paved roads till you get to the turn off.. gps stops at the gate, however Ann gives you perfect directions once you head up the mountain.. and as someone else mentioned if you think you couldn’t possibly drive any further.. just go a bit longer and you’re there! Gravel road leading to the cabin but we had no issues in our Sequoia. There are 3 levels to the cabin and each one is decorated beautifully! Kitchen was fully stocked. We did have some “operator error” with getting the volume to work on the tv.. not a big deal.. however Ann drive over to make sure it worked! I would 10/10 recommend Ann and her cabin! We will definitely be back!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ann's cabin! It was a very peaceful retreat and we enjoyed our coffee out on the deck overlooking the beautiful mountains. The cabin was such a neat collection of antiques. We enjoyed walking through the rooms and checking out all the cool items. I forgot my charger and was allowed to go back to retrieve it. Ann was so polite and quick to respond via the app. We would definitely visit again!
