Inside there is an open plan sitting room, kitchen and dining area with feature inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. Views from the kitchen, bedrooms and garden terrace are of sheep and alpaca grazed pasture, a small wildlife lake and across the open sea of Cardigan Bay.

This was one of our greatest AirBnB experiences. Jane and Gary were so warm, friendly, and helpful; fresh eggs from their chickens, home baked goods, plus a menagerie of friendly birds and beasts made this stay special. On top of that, the location is perfect for exploring the SW coast. Can't recommend highly enough!
What a beautiful idyll 💚 We were 4 generations and all loved it. Many thoughtful touches (such as home made goodies to welcome us). The animals were a real bonus, and it was lovely to see our 2 year old have the chance to grow in confidence with them. The house is so comfortable and clean. We loved everything about it!
Our stay at Jane and Gary’s cottage on their property was perhaps the best Airbnb stay we’ve had. They went up and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Added touches like arriving to warm Welsh cakes was such a treat. The cottage was immaculate, the kitchen well stocked with just about everything you would need cooking on your holiday. We all slept so well in part because of the comfy beds, but also the quiet. We had breakfast on the outdoor table which overlooked a paddock of alpacas and donkeys (very quiet ones). In the distance is the ocean. There are lovely trails on the property, a pond with a tiny wood cabin to watch wildlife or read. Other special elements of the property include sheep, very affectionate goats, flowers, and vegetable gardens. Nearby is a beach where you might spot seals or dolphins. There are tons of cute villages nearby and great restaurants. If you want to experience Wales and all its beauty, book this property!
Stable cottage is fantastic! Spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and decorated, well equipped and situated in an idylic property with views of the sea as well as fields with donkeys and alpacca Not only that, Jane and Gary have created a Wildlife Walk through the fields to enjoy the nature which also comprises acess to a bird hide. Jane and Gary are extremely welcoming and helpful and our stay was perfect.
We had an amazing time at the house! Everything was as described and even better. Jane and Gary were very lovely, friendly and responsive to any queries. The views were beautiful and the house was really clean with everything you needed. We had a great time with the board games provided and seeing the farm animals made our stay even more special. The fireplace was one of the favourite spots in the evening for everyone. The location was in walking distance from the beach and not too far drive from beautiful towns. We would definitely revisit and recommend. This holiday will definitely be remembered for a long time. Thank you Jane and Gary for an amazing experience!

Cwmtydu cove is our local beach and the coastal village of New Quay, famous as the home of Dylan Thomas, is just 3 miles away with its sweep of sandy beaches, fishing Quay, cafes and restaurants. To the south there are more hidden coves and beaches to discover, as well as the historic market town of Cardigan with its recently restored castle
Llainfran is in a peaceful rural coastal location and not directly on any main bus routes or close to rail stations. There is however, a local bus that links New Quay to Cardigan via the many small coves and beaches along the Cardigan Bay coast. This passes within a 700m walk of Stable Cottage at Llainfran on a twice daily basis. The closest railway stations are Aberystwyth to the north (45mins drive), and Carmarthen to the south (40mins drive). There are regular bus services between Carmarthen and Aberystwyth via Aberaeron, and between Cardigan, New Quay and Aberystwyth. There are several good local taxi firms.

We are Jane and Gary and we are privileged to live at Llainfran on the Ceredigion coast of Cardigan Bay. We have both enjoyed working careers for many years in people orientated businesses and now, following a change in career direction, offer a high quality personal service and hospitality to guests seeking escape and relaxation in a beautiful quiet location in West Wales. We have an interesting mix of three holiday cottages, CL caravan and motor home site and meat free Bed and Breakfast in our newly refurbished Victorian farmhouse. Many of our guests comment on the peaceful and relaxing nature of Llainfran and our close proximity to the Wales Coast Path, sheltered coves, sandy beaches and of course Cardigan Bay dolphins!
