The cottage has oil central heating as well as multi fuel stoves in both sitting and dining rooms. There is a spacious kitchen with breakfast bar overlooking the immaculately kept gardens. Spectacular views out of every window, from the Scottish hills at the rear to the idyllic village green and 12th Century sandstone church at the front. The two bedrooms are newly decorated, one bedroom with king size bed lovely inglenook sandstone fire place. The second Bedroom is ensuite with power shower, comfortable King-size bed country side views from both windows. Fell View has A selection of maps and guidebooks of the region are available in the library corner for guests to use Plenty of superb pubs and restaurants in the surrounding villages to explore, including The Pheasant, our famous Village Inn, is two minute stroll away. Fell View cottage is dog friendly for well behaved canine visitors and there are endless walks to be enjoyed straight from the front door.

Fell view is an outstanding place to stay. Local amenities and places to go in the countryside with beautiful surroundings. Jenny the host was exceptional and the property was amazing. Jenny went over and above of our expectations and made our visit priceless. Jenny welcomed our pets and even had treats for them to feast on. The cabin was awesome and self contained. This was a fantastic visit and we would love to come back. The pictures and description of the property was very accurate and is a taste of the English quaint village with everything close by. Jenny gave us suggestions of places to visit with the dogs and recommendations of great shops. Exceptional place. 🐾
We had a wonderful stay at Jenny’s cottage and cabin. It was beautifully clean, considerately put together and very comfortable. She also made us some amazing scones. Would definitely stay again.

I couldn't wait to share my recent experience at Fell View Cottage, hosted by the wonderful Jenny, during my three-night getaway. This review comes straight from my heart, as I am still basking in the warm memories of this truly remarkable stay. From the moment I arrived at Fell View Cottage, I was greeted by an atmosphere of pure serenity. The surrounding area, Cumwhitton, is a hidden gem of natural beauty. Rolling hills and picturesque landscapes provided the perfect backdrop for a peaceful retreat, far away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cottage itself was a dream come true. Cosy, charming, and exuding a rustic elegance, it felt like a home away from home. The interior decor perfectly complemented the cottage's quaint exterior, and every corner seemed to tell a story. The highlight for me was the beautiful garden that was just a step away from the living space. Each morning, I would step outside to soak in the natural beauty, with a cup of coffee in hand.

Fell View is in the heart of a very small rural beautiful village, there are no shops or busses here at all but there is a very popular village pub just two minutes walk from the cottage. you can walk from the door across the fields (footpath)and down to the river Eden.
