This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to Glacier!

This chalet was the perfect home base for our glacier trip! So close to the west glacier entrance, and it seriously looks just like the pictures: a beautiful mountain cabin with stunning wood features throughout. The loft bedroom/bathroom with private deck was my favorite part :) 100% worth it!!

Overall this is a unique place to stay. The location near the park is great and makes getting to Glacier easy. There are a couple of drawbacks, though, there is a train that runs close by (close enough to see from the deck) that blows its horn often, the neighs dog barks all night long, and the neighborhood is a bit unkempt. The house was pretty clean, but we noticed socks and dust bunnies under the beds, and a lot of small flies inside the house.

This cabin is cool, rustic and large but it wasn't the most comfortable stay. The king bed in the basement was not super comfortable and there was no bathroom on the bottom level where most of the beds are. At first I didn't think that would be a big deal, but it was inconvenient with kids. Also it's a very small bathroom, only 1 person can use the sink at a time, and the sink is so high it's awkward to use. The kitchen was clean, big and fairly well stocked. The main level is so spacious and the stairs are beautiful, but the main level could really use more comfortable seating than the hard wooden benches with pillows. There were a couple padded seats but it wasn't really a great gathering space. The house isn't as secluded as it looks in the pictures and there were no blinds or curtains on most windows. Also the blaring sirens for the 911 dispatch sounds like it's coming from inside the house. There was a note about that when we arrived but something to be aware of B4 you book.

Extremely cute chalet with a three level deck/patio overlooking mountains. Beautiful interior. Very close to the West Glacier park entrance. Very responsive and helpful!
