Thank you for the amazing stay! We appreciate the flexibility and responsiveness during our stay. We loved the place and it was worth more than what we imagined!
We absolutely loved our stay at Nocturna. Waking up to the lush view from the bedroom window was the highlight. We enjoyed morning yoga in the common space and a perfect cup of nespresso provided by the host. The team made reservations for us at the beach clubs and recommended excellent dinner choices. I'm giving it a 3-star rating primarily due to the value for money, or lack thereof. We paid 3x the avg nightly rate, which set high expectations that weren't fully met. Pros: Airbnb itself was quite charming, offering hot water, & spacious. Proximity to main attractions (ruins and Aldea Zama), was a plus. Co-host was prompt in resolving issues after check-in. Cons: Despite its positive aspects, the location proved to be less convenient than expected due to poor walkability. The common areas and the building itself were somewhat neglected, detracting from the overall experience. A particular concern was the security; the main door's lock was broken, leaving the door open day & night. May not be directly the host's fault, but worth noting. In summary, for its regular nightly rate, this Airbnb would be a good deal, offering a fair balance of comfort & convenience. However, given our experience & the inflated price, I couldn't justify spending more than $100 a night in the future.
Great place to stay. Chose this for the view and it was worth it. The staff are responsive and pretty much always there for you. To get there just know it’s a bit sketchy to drive through the trees but honestly it really added to the seclusion which we liked, just have faith in their instructions. To travel out of Tulum this place is great since you’re not driving through traffic to get out. Place was clean and the facilities were a nice little touch though we only used the hammocks. I would recommend a friend or family stay here.

I love creating beautiful spaces and sharing them with people. Nothing makes my day like a guest telling me what a great experience they had while staying with us, or how much they like the design of one of my Airbnbs. We now have a small portfolio of vacation rentals to share with design-conscious travelers in Tulum and soon in Joshua Tree, CA. We very much hope we will have the opportunity to host you! In addition to vacation rentals, I run a strategy consulting business called Conspire for Good, where we help progressive organizations and social impact companies make the world a better place.
