I had an amazing one night stay with Jessica. She’s an amazing host and her home is very cozy! She’s also very communicative and thorough with her instructions. This is Airbnb is the true definition of a homestay, which would normally be a bit uncomfortable, but Jessica made it one of the most comfortable Airbnb experiences I’ve ever stayed at.
Jessica's room was defiantly sufficient for my needs! Instructions were clear, and I found them very helpful.
Glad to have come across Jessica’s home on a VERY short notice. Her home has been my home in NYC! The room was just the right size for a smaller person like me but if you’re taller, I would suggest to get her bigger option. I stayed mostly at home as I work from home and Jessica was always mindful of my stay, even messaging me to turn the AC on while she’s away for an event. Jessica’s an exceptional host and I would look for her place if I ever find myself again in Queens. 😊
Last time I visited NYC, I have stayed at another place, not far from this location, and it had an A/C in the room (not a fan), a full-sized bed, with a steel bed frame (not a wooden platform, with a low-cost foam mattress), and 2-ply toilet paper was in the bathroom. And it cost noticeably less than Jessica's place. This will work for a smaller person, who won't be there too much during the day, as it gets hot in the room quickly, with no A/C. Jessica is a nice girl, but for the money she charges, the room should be better. It came across as clean, but you are flying 2nd-class, here. Until she upgrades the room, I'd stay elsewhere. Take it as constructive criticism. No hard feelings. Evander
Woodside bordering Elmhurst, it is by far the most diverse neighborhood in USA. My apartment location is walking distance to multiple subway lines and world culture cuisines from Nepalese, Thai to Irish home cook .. and many more! Bus ride away to LGA and easy metro to JFK. You can search for "Pata Paplean", I live close to the bar.
Super convenient! (E, F, M, R, 7 trains, Q60bus. And the E, F trains are the fastest).
- 7-8 mins walk to EFMR7 express and local trains.
- 10-15 mins (3 stops away) to 53rd & 3rd / 63rd & Lex.
- Train to Grand Central.
- Bus to La Guardia Airport, train to JFK airport.
