Great location, nice neighbours but the cottage needs repairs. Had electrical issues with outlets sparking, lights burning out with switch in bedroom, some outlets not working at all, vacuum blew breaker. Ceiling fan light in livingroom would not turn on. Light cord taped together. Dated and old mattresses, creaky and soft. Stove oven and coffee maker (30 min to brew a pot) take forever to do their jobs. BBQ needs replacing as it is falling apart. Sent a picture of a bees nest in driveway as it had stung a member of our party. Fortunately, not the member who is deathly allergic. Christian did respond after we had left indicating he was not aware and would look into having it removed. Found cottage to be dark and dreary on the inside. Would be better if the panelling was painted a brighter colour and lighting changed. Door to deck hard to open. Screen door in kitchen doesnt cover opening. Dont feel it was worth the price paid but the location was excellent, dock in great shape & quiet

This was our first time using Airbnb and we weren't sure whst to expect. Christian's listing was exactly what we got. The property is located on the water. The location was quiet and peaceful. The cottage was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. I wasn't sure if it would have everything I would need so I brought a few items and found that I didn't have to. It had everything you would need and more. Kayaks, a canoe, an inflatable, paddle board, pool noodles and life jackets were available to use. My son tried kayaking for the first time and really enjoyed it. This was our first relaxed vacation. Usually we hike trails or explore the attractions near us but we were more than happy to sit on the dock or on the deck and enjoy the view. We took our anxious dog with us and even she was able to relax. Christian was very responsive to all our inquiries. We would definitely book with Christian again.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't as warm for us as we wanted, so we didn't get much swimming in but the water was nice and clear. The dock and water in front of the dock is all shaded by about 2pm. So if you're a morning person you'll get nice sun rises :) Christian was great to deal with. When I found out his canoe was damaged he took the time to patch it up and put in new seats so we could use it during our stay :) We were dissapointed the dishwasher had been taken out but we survived lol This cottage is definetely rustic as the listing says :) We had a nice relaxing time there.

Christian’s place is a beautiful place on a very nice lake which is great for a family to rest, relax and enjoy time together! We also enjoyed some of the great service at the local Magnetawan Grill and stores. The Magnetawan Fall Fair was great to see local vendors, organizations, a petting zoo and a parade. Great way to end the summer relaxing in this comfortable cottage by the edge of the lake swimming and boating together as a family!
