We had an amazing Thanksgiving long weekend at Justin’s cottage. The fall colours were simply stunning. We got a couple of days of rain but the cottage was so well equipped with games, TV, comfy and cozy spots for reading that the rain just added to the relaxing vacation. On the sunny days we hiked a lot and followed Justin’s reccos on local places and events. Huge bonus was being able to leave the garbage in the designated box, given not all cottage owners allow you to do that. The cottage was super kid friendly for both infants and teens. We recommend Justin’s cottage to everyone who’s looking to disconnect from city life and reconnect with nature and family.

This is such a beautiful, quiet spot and Justin is an incredibly helpful and responsive host. We visited in late September and the leaves had started changing colour and it was gorgeous. The cottage is perfect, has everything you may need, and is even nicer than the pictures convey. We would love to return and highly recommend this spot!

We could not have asked for a better place to spend the long weekend. The cottage was even better than we were expecting--the pictures can hardly do the place justice! Very peaceful and enough room for the 7 of us without us feeling like we were on top of each other. The new floating deck and view from the firepit were standouts. Justin was an extremely responsive and proactive host. We would love to stay here again!

We had a fantastic weekend at Justin s cottage! The cottage is very spacious with all the amenities you would need! The kitchen was so well equipped, plenty of board games for the kids ! We loved the layout of the cottage! The outdoor surroundings are so beautiful! The dock has sun all day long and is very spacious! Swimming from it is amazing, with no weeds and no boat traffic, a very peaceful lake perfect for swimming! Kayaks are available , a little sand pit for the little ones on the dock which my 5 year old loved and so many water toys all available to use! Justin was a fantastic host, always available for any questions we had! We will be back in the winter for some ice fishing and skating on the lake!

We had a wonderful & relaxing vacation at Justin's cottage. The accommodations were very comfortable & the place had all the ingredients for a perfect holiday - beautiful quiet setting, great dock with plenty of sunshine all day, a campfire for s'mores, Muskoka room & plenty of games & activities on the property. We loved taking out the canoe & kayak & lounging in the floats on the lake. While we didn't have young children, he even provides a portable sandbox on the dock with toys for young families. The cottage is a short drive from the town of Magnetawan which made it easy if we needed groceries or wanted an ice cream cone. We visited the Farmer's market on Saturday morning & saw local artisans & bought locally grown fruits & vegetables. The cottage is clean, cozy, private & well-equipped. It was exactly what we needed. Justin was an excellent host. He communicated with us throughout the trip to check in & see if we needed anything. Can't wait to visit again! We loved it!
