James was a great host and very accommodating. I arrived in Peoria early on Sunday morning, and James allowed me to check in before noon. The place was as listed and easy to find. I grew up in Peoria, and didn't realize how much Peoria Heights had changed over the years. There were great restaurants walking distance from the house, to include his restaurant, Jim's Bistro, which was awesome! I was able to meet James in person and enjoy a great dining experience. I would stay here again if I return to Peoria in the future.

What a wonderful place to stay! We felt right at home. James was a fantastic host with clear directions on how to get into the home, what amenities were in the area, and how to close down the home on our final day. It was just like being at home. We plan to visit the area yearly and will always try to stay at James's Place!

extremely pleasurable in all respects Comfortable walking distance to the downtown eateries and completely safe neighborhood bars I parked the car and walked everywhere including exercise walks on Grandview Dr which is a gorgeous overlook of the Illinois river valley
