My family and my Corgi enjoyed our stay very much. Anita is a wonderful host! She was informative responsive and very thoughtful. She had fresh cookies and water to greet us when we arrived! The house was immaculate. The pool table was awesome along with all of the other board games and activites. We had a lot of fun! I could just go on about how beautiful and spacious this house is! It feels so inviting the way it is decorated and the layout is so unique. Very well designed! We would love to return the next time we need accomodations.

Anita’s place was fantastic- we felt right at home and the homemade cookies for the kids were a nice touch. The house was very clean and everything we needed to be comfortable was provided and easily accessible. Anita checked in on us after a particularly bad storm that came through the area, which was much appreciated and very considerate. She even came out the day we arrived to bring a new keurig because the one that had been there broke. Above and beyond hostess! My only qualm about our stay (which wasn’t anyone’s fault but our own because I didn’t take previous reviews seriously) was how loud the train was. The track is literally right behind the house and trains would go by every few hours. For a train enthusiast, this would be a haven, but as someone who highly values sleep and is a light sleeper, getting woken up at 1am, 4am, and 5:30am multiple nights due to the blaring horn/whistle every time a train went by was a bit obnoxious. Otherwise our stay was extremely pleasant!

We enjoyed our time at Anita’s. The house was orderly with amenities as advertised. We enjoyed a walk to the local burger and ice cream joint and our kids enjoyed the trains passing near the house. Trains seem to come at any hour of the day and night but were a quick event even though notable. It was less than twenty minutes to Mammoth Cave, a pleasant drive. If visiting the caves, be sure to book tickets online ahead of visit. If you miss out on your preferred tour, keep an eye out for cancellations as they do occur, especially nearing tour time. It’s only $1 to cancel a tour so it seems to happen fairly regularly. We’d stay again if we were in the area!

The home is bigger than it appears. It was very clean. Good neighborhood and great location. We brought our pets, the only thing I would say is to finish the fence for the pets to go potty. There is a train but you get use to that not a deal breaker for us. Very charming. We enjoyed all the games that were available. I would stay again for sure. Thanks again.
