Cottontail Cottage was exactly as advertised and met/exceeded any expectations that we may have had. We travelled from Australia to immerse ourselves in the beauty and community that is the Yorkshire Dales for 5 weeks and Cottontail at Hawes did not disappoint. We loved the lambs outside our door and we found the cottage to be spacious, clean, warm and comfortable - especially the beds. Sarah was on hand for any queries, was friendly, thoughtful and generous. We reluctantly left with a heavy, but full heart and lots of wonderful memories not to mention countless photos.

We had a wonderful holiday in Cottontail Cottage. It has amazing views, situated perfectly for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and Hawes is just a short walk away. The cottage itself is wonderfully old, cozy and perfect to return to after a day out and about.

Beautiful place and surroundings and much bigger than it looks in the photos. So peaceful and a great place to desensitise my dog to sheep as she could sit safely in the enclosed porch area and watch them up close without being able to chase them! Lots of fabulous walks and farm shops close by and a local farmers market. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

situated among meadows and sheeps, we had a very relaxing time at Sarah's cottage. The interior was very nice and there was a lit to discover for our 2 little kids. they lived to check out the environment out of the windows. And they always discovered some animals. Sarah was a nice host and constantly replied immediately. She also helped us with a travel cottage and high chair. Some (dog) hairs on the carpet downstairs were found. Beside this, everything was totally clean. it's just a half mile to the center of Hawes, which was very helpful. We cooked a lot in the kitchen, wherever found the essentials. Absolutely great for a relaxing time in the Dales
