I really enjoyed this little "cottage". It was very comfortable. I loved the copper countertop especially because it added so much character to the fully equipped kitchen. I would highly recommend this place. It felt like a private little getaway and was perfect for me. The bathroom was spacious and very nice.

Wonderful place near the beautiful Scotia Bluffs and the Eel River. Stayed here for a travel nurse assignment for 6 months and… two earthquakes and a bomb cyclone later and I still stayed? Yea, that says a total lot. Felt super safe in this place, sturdy. Clean and tidy. Plenty of amenities. Lots of brochures to explore the area! Tons of places to explore nearby if you love everything redwoods, rivers, beaches, oceans, lagoons, Victorian homes and just basically a small town feel. Peaceful and quiet. Hosts are super friendly and responsive in a timely manner. Met Jim only, after the first earthquake happened. Very helpful in everything to keep us comfortable. Neighbors help each other. It’s just really a nice environment here. Parking out front can park 2 cars. This home shares a gate with another home. Washer and dryer available if staying long term. Overall 10/10, will stay again! Also, their daughter sells beautiful silk scarves!! Check out her Etsy, SilkSquirrel! (:
