Great location. The owners are great hosts. Everything is as pictured on the Airbnb site. Close to downtown Nashville with walkable coffee shops, breweries, distilleries and restaurants in WeHO. We loved our stay and highly recommend it for all. The place was beautiful!
Adding another 5 star review! One of the cleanest AirBnb's I've ever stayed in! We went for a Girls Trip, we felt safe with the security and loved having 3 full bathrooms! All of the beds were comfortable, and being able to sit outside and enjoy some sun in the manicured backyard was the cherry on top. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
Beautiful home! I highly recommend. John & Elisabeth were fantastic as hosts. I had a wonderful birthday thanks to them. Fast and easy communication. The house looked exactly like the images shown. Super clean and had everything we needed.

We had a really good time at Lighty’s Roost! We came for a soccer game at Geodis Park, it was a short walk though I didn’t know Nashville was that hilly. Really appreciate the local guide and recommendations they sent. Plenty of walkable restaurants and breweries in the neighborhood. There were some really nice touches like a bag of locally-roasted coffee and strategic nightlights that made this a 5 star place! This wasn’t a problem for us, but if you are a very light sleeper, this probably isn’t the house or neighborhood for you. The 6am freight train woke up the toddler with us, but the adults were up early anyway. The downstairs floors creaked but that’s nothing the host can control. There was a problem with a light switch upstairs but host responded quickly and it was a quick fix. Overall, recommend Lighty’s Roost and would stay here again if we’re in Nashville.

John (AKA Lighty) is a freelance advertising creative and Tennessee transplant who moved to Nashville from San Francisco. As a freelancer, John lived the nomad life jumping from project to project, city to city until Elisabeth’s job in the music industry brought her out to CA where their paths serendipitously crossed. Elisabeth is where the local cred comes into play having lived in Nashville for 20 years now (not a second more because she doesn’t like "to date" herself). It’s Elisabeth who knows the ins-and-outs of Music City and, as an OG member of the Tin Roof mafia, quite possibly every single person in town both civilian & celeb alike. But wait, here’s where their story comes full circle: John & Elisabeth grew up in the same town and even went to the same high school, but they never actually got to know each other until their first face-to-face date in West Hollywood (WeHo for short). So when John started hunting for their Nashville dream house, only the neighborhood of Wedgewood-Houston (also WeHo for short) would do. Couple that with their shared passion for travel, the endless quest for tasty food, and all forms of hospitality—including the Southern variety—and what you get with Lighty’s Roost is a true labor of love.
