Loved Erin's place! cute house, had everything we needed for fanily of 4, amazing location, beautiful beach right down the street! easy places to eat and easy drives to amazing locations like sleeping bear dunes, Suttons Bay, fishbowl, traverse city! loved it!

There are Airbnb’s that are good: attractively decorated, well located, well appointed, and, most importantly, have sharp knives! Then they are Airbnb’s that are great. They feel like home and you leave wishing that you lived there or at least could spend more time there; where owners think of everything that you’ll need and more. And then there are Airbnb’s, like Erin’s in Empire, that I would describe as generous: They are beyond transactional. It is obvious that there is love in sharing the place with others and it’s not just about the money. Also, it’s great when people have , enough towels and nice sheets but it’s really great when they have more than enough brand new towels, beautifully presented and lots of beach towels and games and really the most adorable location that you can find , especially if you’re exploring the sleeping bear sand dunes for the first time with kids. It was a perfect way to end a perfect summer. Thank you Erin!

We had such a great stay. The house was perfect, great attention to details, so very comfortable, love the front porch. Great location, walkable to food and shops. Walkable to one of the best beaches on Lake Michigan. Empire is a great town, not as busy as Glen Arbor or Fishtown, but right in the heart of it all. We cannot wait to go back. Erin and Doug were awesome hosts.

The house was perfect for our family. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for being able to enjoy the town and the beach.
