We had the most comfortable time staying here! Amazing hosts willing to go above and beyond to make our stay as easy as possible! We loved their dogs and the views from the yard were stunning… especially the cows!! 👍👍

We stayed for 5 days in March at this idyllic rental. The Little House is so cosy and comfortable we felt immediately at home. The views are absolutely stunning. Every day, in any weather it was breathtaking. The only thing to match the beauty of the home and surroundings is the warmth and charm of our hosts. Absolutely 5 stars in every way. Dolores and Ivor made us feel like family. The two dogs, Messi and Canelo are a delight. If you throw the ball to Canelo once, just know you have become a full time fetch player. Time well spent and one of the added bonuses of Little House. We did not hire a car and found it easy to get a taxi into Drogheda, Donore or Duleek for about 18.00 euros one way. From the property there are many lovely walks to be had, including the Boyne riiver walk and to Newgrange, each about a 35 min stroll at an easy pace. It is possible to walk to Donore where there is a great pub (Daly's) and a minimart for groceries. We feel so lucky to have been guests here.

This was our second stay at the Little House and our first since they added the second bedroom. It is such a lovely spot, the views are amazing. We visited the Irish Military War Museum and Funtasia in Drogheda, both short drives away. Dolores met us on arrival and was so welcoming. Our 4 year old loved the two dogs and the trampoline too. Would definitely stay again.

Ivor and Dolores reached out and made us feel welcome before we even arrived. The location is spectacular. The Little House is cosy, well-organized, and spotlessly clean. The two bedrooms are spacious and each of them has its own large, contemporary bathroom. The kitchen is efficient and was perfect for our needs...we cooked all of our breakfasts and most of our dinners there. The living room is very comfortable and boasts a large window with a view of Newgrange and the Boyne Valley, along with a sliding glass door to the yard. We appreciated the great assortment of historical and cultural books. There are a number of nearby dining options. The Visitor Centers for both Newgrange and the Battle of the Boyne are just a few minutes away. Dolores and Ivor are wonderful hosts, friendly and welcoming. Any questions we had were addressed promptly. We loved our nine day stay at the Little House and will certainly return!
