Peggy was a fantastic host and her cottage was lovely. My family stayed with our 8 month old and it was fully kitted for those needs. The cottage had every amenity you could possible think of and Peggy left some of her home made scones for us on arrival which were great! The location is great for getting around the county and it’s just far enough out to feel really private. Would recommend to anyone!
Peggy and her home were absolutely lovely! This is one of the best places we’ve stayed at! Everything was new and thoughtful designed. She and her Cody cottage are a gem!
From the moment we arrived, this felt like home. Peggy’s daughter greeted us with a fireplace roaring, apple pie, wine and milk. She explained everything thoroughly — including the plethora of wood for the fireplace. The location is a bit in the middle of nothing; however, that is what makes it so special. It is quiet and cozy — living up to its name. We enjoyed the fire at night, and the peace and quiet. It is spacious and Peggy has top-shelf furniture and taste throughout. It is about 15 minutes from Donegal, which turned out to be one of our favorite cities after 3.5 weeks in Ireland. While the people are friendly everyone in London, we found them even friendlier in Donegal. The location is close to Slieve League Cliffs, which are beautiful. We wished we could’ve stayed longer and would strongly recommend this place. We would look forward to returning.
Peggy's Cozy Cottage was a perfect home away from home! We honestly wished we could've stayed longer. She greeted us at the door with freshly baked scones and gave local recommendations on what to do in the area. The cottage is conveniently located close to Slieve League, Donegal and other quaint towns for any amenities you might need. Overall, a wonderful experience and lovely place to stay!
Great stay for our two adults and two kids. Very private and quiet setting, great way to relax and unwind. Lots of neighboring sheep, cows and a couple donkeys! The cottage had everything we needed and we enjoyed our time there.
