First, the positives: Martin was super responsive by phone and text, and he seemed to really want to help with all the things we messaged him about. The house itself was very spacious, comfortable and in a pretty, quiet, peaceful, safe area. The pool looked like a real plus (we didn't use it). If all the little issues we encountered hadn't existed, it would have been a five star review and we would definitely stay again. Now the negatives: the house was badly in need of attention from a handyman (broken bannister at the top of the stairwell; damaged dining room chair that actually led to one of our kids falling off of it; splintery piece of wood broken off from the shoe rack) and a cleaner (dead cockroaches in the foyer, kitchen, and laundry room; dead squirrel in the front yard a few feet away from the kids' play structure). These issues were either gross or safety-related, and all would have been EASY for anyone to spot and fix. As it stood, the whole place was one big liability.

Beautiful house in a peaceful, gorgeous neighborhood. Perfect for a getaway! More than enough space for my family of 5. I would definitely recommend to other families!

Upon arriving within the 1st 2 hours we had to kill 7 (2in) cockroaches. Host said they had come in from a storm. Well the house should have been inspected and this dealt with before guest arrived. It is unacceptable to expect someone to stay in a place with bugs. We had to remove all our belongings for fear we would take these pest with us. We literally got maybe 3-4 hours of sleep for fear they would be on us during the night! The pool was filthy zero water flow. None of the jets were moving and filtering water. It was more of a stagnant mosquito pond. Pool toys and floats were thrown all over the backyard once again just not picked up. We left early the next morning host did refund second night, although I find it ridiculous I had to pay him a penny for a lot of headaches. Had to replan vacation, make 900 phone calls and messages. Just extremely disappointing to not be provided what was advertised and Airbnb was ZERO help!

We had an incredible stay. We came down for an extended weekend. The house is very private with a great pool. The house is very convenient to shopping, beach and more. The house is beautiful and has everything you need for a great stay. We can't wait to come back. Hosts were very responsive.
