A modern(ish) house, a few minutes walk from the nice beach. It was clean and tidy, and suited our needs as a base to explore south and north Cornwall. The area felt safe, and had a pub, a few shops, cafe and fish and chips shop.

Lisa is the most helpful host you could ask for. She went above and beyond the accommodate and help us feel comfortable at the beach house. Couldn’t ask for better house better holiday or better host!

Lisa's home is in the perfect location for a beach holiday. The beach is a very short walk down the road, as is the breath-taking coastal path. We spent every evening watching the sunset, beer in hand after a day walking and swimming. What more could you ask? My son also discovered an awesome bike park a few minutes down the road called The Track. So pack your bikes, bike lovers. Other local musts are Cornish Pasties from St Agnes Bakery (absolutely delicious), great pizza from The Cornish Pizza Company also in St Agnes, and Porthtowan’s Seasmiths fish and chips. Also hunt down hedgehog ice-cream, you won’t be sorry. Lisa's house is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. It is also brilliant to be able to take your pets. Thank you for another memorable holiday.

Fantastic location: walking distance to the beach in wetsuits. Very attentive host to queries. However, for nearly £1,500 for a week, the place needs some work. The property looks a bit tired and could do with an update/coat of paint. The pillows in the bedrooms are quite flat and curtains are thin, so if you need darkness to sleep, you will need a blackout blind/eyemask (particularly at the front where the street light shines in)
