The house is lovely, and really similar to what you see in the pictures. It felt like we were in a Portuguese house, and not a house that can be anywhere in the world, which was very nice. The house was clean, for us the location was ideal (walk from a great beach and in the center between two main towns 13 min drive away. Nice restaurants around and some walking distance too. The house did have everything we needed, it felt spacious and had lots of different places you can feel alone without being alone, which was so nice! Downfalls The bedroom off the kitchen has no A/C and the shower there had very low water pressure. The couple who stayed in that room had to use other people’s showers. When I contracted the owner he said it was because other people were taking a shower at the same time.. and no solution was really provided. Overall, definitely recommend. Great stay and great value

Villa Algama was just what we wanted… beautiful, clean and very well appointed. Our host Francisco responded to our questions and helped when needed… we are 8 ladies that travel together every year and loved the beautiful views from the villa… and surroundings!!!

Great experience overall. Astonishing view over the bay and ocean. Excellent restaurant just a 3 minute walk away (on the waterfront). Access to a very nice beach via a 15 minute hike alongside a cliff.

My family and I had an incredible stay at Villa Algama. This beautiful property is set upon a hill with stunning views of Portimão and Praia da Rocha. The Villa itself is large with bathrooms in every bedroom. The back patio and surrounding pool amplify the gorgeous west facing views. There are a couple fabulous restaurants and beaches within a quick walk from the Villa. The city of Portimao is also a quick drive away and has a lot of great attractions. Overall a perfect spot for our family to enjoy a few sun soaked days in the Algarve. Thank you Francisco!

A truly stunning villa. We stayed as a family of 7 ranging in age from 20 to 85. Often felt like you were the only person there as it's so spacious. Views are stunning and it's such a great location. You can walk to a beach within 5 minutes or walk across the cliffs into Ferragudo. The availability of uber and bolt taxis make this a great spot to get into and out of Ferragudo with its great range of restaurants. The villa feels like a family home with beautiful furniture and tiled walls. Francis was very attentive and we would highly recommend Villa Algama.
