Enjoyed my stay. House was very cozy and neat. Market and restaurants within walking distance. People very friendly and helpful.

This is a very lovely and comfortable house. I felt immediately at home. The kitchen was very well equipped with basic cooking equipment. The oven wasn’t working but I understand that it will soon be fixed. I loved the location in a small typical Costa Rican town very close to all amenities. A great friendly steak and Ribs restaurant across the road. The climate was perfect sunny, not to hot, very comfortable no need for fans or air conditioning. I spent a whole week in this very peaceful and pleasant place and I’d be happy to return again. Doris is a lovely responsive hostess who does whatever she can to satisfy every need.

Great little place in Naranjo! If you want to see how Ticos/Ticas really live in a small town setting this is the place. Also close to Poas and Toro Amarillo which we checked out (catarata rio del toro was great!) Also a nice bar/restaurant a minute walk down the street (Bar Ribs). 35 mins from airport

The only place directly in Naranjo as of this review and it's just a block away from the center of the town. Great location, and felt very safe. If you want to really live the part in a small town in Costa Rica, it's hard to pick a better spot. Great little home with everything you could need. Communication was quick and easy whenever we had questions. When we noticed that the fridge wasn't working correctly, they ordered a brand new one installed the next day. Pretty incredible. When we asked about a specific soup we'd been craving, Doris' niece called up the shop and picked up 3 orders for us since my grandmother isn't able to walk well. Many thanks to Doris and her family for making us feel so welcome and allowing us to feel like we were living in Naranjo rather than visiting. Would rent again in the future.
