This Airbnb is absolutely surrounded by nature - you will feel truly immersed. The private trail on the property was so beautiful and very well marked with amazing views. The pool was lovely too and the entire property was very private and relaxing. Be prepared for all that nature in Costa Rica brings, including some bugs, but it's all part of the experience.

Property & home are incredible. House & landscaping are beautiful. Trail hike on the property with an incredible view & hammock & swing stops throughout the trail. About a 45min drive to the airport. There was a little noise from neighbors & not much hot water. But neither really mattered. The place is a gorgeous oasis. Would love to return!

Finca Totoro is very contemporary but blends into its surroundings, creating a feeling of being off the grid while enjoying all modern amenities. We spent most of our time in the lushly landscaped outdoor spaces with tables, hammocks, and swings. The property is private and secluded, so you can enjoy the hot tub, pool, and outdoor shower without being overlooked. There's no central A/C or hot water, but that adds to the charm and experience. The 2.5K hiking trail has stunning views, picnic spots, hammocks, and swings along the way. The hosts were incredibly responsive and provided helpful recommendations and assistance. As some have mentioned, the occasional noise from barking dogs, loud neighbors, and roosters crowing was disruptive, but we thought of it as part of the authentic Costa Rican rural lifestyle and made us feel part of the local scene. Finca Totoro exceeded our expectations, offering a balance of modern comforts with tranquility and natural beauty.

Absolutely amazing! Great communication, really clean, and overall just a super cool spot. Only wish we could have stayed longer!
