We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Beach spa house. Barry was very helpful, clear instructions about checkin, usage and checkout. We are a family of 9, considered ourselves incredibly lucky to nail this stay during school holidays at the last minute. We had all the amenities including cutlery needed for our 2 nights stay. Hot tub is the highlight as well as the easy access to beach and proximity to Anna Bay. It’s worth noting this house is part of Wanderer’s retreat, not that it makes a difference as the house stands on its own with adequate privacy and fantastic surroundings. Also worth remembering this is eco friendly resort that would mean compostable toilets among other things. Some of the family members were uncomfortable as they are not familiar but It was articulated well in the description, I missed it so it’s on me. I would not hesitate to visit again for another family friendly vacation.

Although I personally missed out due to COVID restrictions in my area, the ladies who travelled down from Forster said it was perfect for our ladies weekend away and they definitely want to come back and stay again.

Thank you so much Barry and Maree, the beach house is amazing! stunning surroundings and the cottage was so cosy. the hottub was the highlight of our trip!

Barry was an exceptionally helpful host who showed us through the site and how to use all the devices in the Airbnb. He even recommended several great things to do nearby!

Barry was a good host and very friendly during our stay. I would say overall the cleanliness could have been better and he has since contacted me claiming we damaged a part of the sofa, none of our party were aware of any damages and the sofa was clearly very old and tatty and had not been cleaned properly prior to our arrival as we found an old chocolate bar and some clothing stuffed in between the cushions. We had a lovely stay, but this has somewhat dampened the experience.
