We have just spent 5 days in Fell Cottage and absolutely loved it. The cottage itself is homely and welcoming, we were comfortable as a couple with a dog, there was fresh water for the dog on arrival, a dog chew & port (not for the dog haha!) The cottage is beautifully decorated, and the log burners are super cozy. We loved the sauna. There's an enclosed courtyard shared with the other cottages, and parking on the road outside, sometimes we couldn't park directly outside, but Morven kindly let us park in front of their gate. We cooked most nights we were there and the kitchen was well equipped. The cottage is perfectly located to explore lakes, most walks that we did were around a half an hour drive away. Hawshead brewery in Staveley is a great dog friendly place for a drink. Staveley chippy is a must. Morven and Phillip are lovely hosts. Couldn't have wished for a better holiday, we can't wait to return!

Lovely cottage, warm and cosy and fitted out beautifully. Lots of nice little touches made it seem special. Host's very friendly and quick resolve any queries that we had.

Just back from a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. It felt like a home from home, so cosy and relaxing, not to mention the absolutely stunning views. The beds were super comfy and all the extra little touches just made it more special- the port waiting by the wood burner, the fresh herbs, the dog treats, logs and also the wine that you can purchase. Didn’t get a chance to use the sauna but hopefully next time. Look forward to returning one day.

Had an amazing stay!! Our 3 cocker spaniels had the best time on the walks right on the door step. Morven was amazing get getting some of the things we had left behind back to us. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning 🙂
