This was a great apartment to stay in. Everything is as shown on the page. The bed is comfortable, good wifi, there is American television too, if you feel homesick. There is a good view from the balcony of the bay. It is in a nice, quiet apartment complex, while still being close enough that a taxi to the marina for a cruise or to downtown Ha Long for good restaurants is cheap. Also, Cuong is super responsive to messages and your needs. Highly recommended.

The apartment is the best place to stay if you’re planning to visit Halong. Waking up every morning to the beautiful view of the islets of Halong Bay feels like waking up in a paradise hotel. The night market and other tourist spots are about $2 taxi ride away and you can go home to a tranquil sleep while still being near the tourists spots. Taxi is readily available in the area. The apartment has all the amenities a guest will need for a short term or long term stay. The gym is complete. There is an open area pool with a view of Halong Bay. And to top it off, Cuong is an amazing host who made my stay as comfortable as can be. He responds quickly to text messages, even late at night. I sometimes wonder if he ever sleeps :). He made sure I got the best deal possible when arranging for my airport transfers and is readily available when I need travel advice or if I need someone to translate for me. He went above and beyond my expectations for an airbnb host. Highly recommended.
