The apartment is wonderful, very open and clean. There are a lot of ants in the apartment but that’s pretty common. Only 3 stars because the location wasn’t great and there wasn’t a lot around. If you are willing to rent a motorbike or cab to travel to town it’s great. We also had to leave way earlier than we had planned on our last day due to the power in the apartment going out (not the whole building) and it became too hot without the AC.

Apartment located between Bai chay beach and Tian Chau harbour with amazing views of the sea and parts of the limestone rocks in the bay. We stayed here two night and booked a halong bay day tour with a company at Tuan Chau harbour which turned out to be really good. We also visited the beach in Bai Chay which was a nice man made beach with warm sea. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but otherwise getting taxis/grabs was easy. There is a very convenient mini mart on the ground floor. We were a little disappointed that the cleaner came an hour earlier than check out making us feel a bit rushed to get out and she was also there when we arrived with the curtains drawn which didn't give the best first impression but this was soon rectified by the host.
