We had an amazing time. Perfect for families with young children. Between the kayaks, hiking, fishing, all the games, s'mores and just hanging out together - it was a perfect vacation, especially to get away from the city noise. Evelyn and the property managers are very responsive and answered our questions within minutes. The property is beautiful and private and our kids spent every minute they could outside. We are looking forward to coming back again!!

We had a wonderful long weekend getaway. The property offers so much to do, you could easily vacation here without ever leaving the property. The historic charm is so warm and welcoming. Can’t speak highly enough of the amazing experience with our host, who made sure we were comfortable and had no worries. Cant wait to come back for another… longer… visit!

Our stay at the Golden Quarters farm was amazing. We were able to do so much right on the property and we all had a blast. We had a ton of firsts on this trip including crabbing on the dock, canoeing, bird watching. We will be coming back whenever we decide to take a trip to Maryland again.

I can sum it up this way My family said this was the best family vacation they have ever had!! The reasons are, there is just so much to do on the property. you can kayak, you can swim at the pool, you can go for hikes on the property. The house was set up where we just walked in and we're ready to start enjoying our vacation! you are literally 10 minutes from everything, whether you want to go to the beach, drive into Berlin, go golfing. everything is so close and easy to get to. We will be back!!

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Golden Quarter Farm! From the moment you pull into the property you realize what a special place it is. The peaceful location along Ayer Creek provided plenty of opportunities to paddle board, canoe/kayak, and for crabbing which we really enjoyed. The inground pool was the biggest hit and our kids couldn't stay out of it! The farm also has well maintained trails that are great for exploring (be sure to find the massive, old maple with the tree swing) and the basketball hoop was a hit too. The batting cage, however, was not useable which was a bummer for our older boys. The house itself has lots of charm and provided plenty of space for our two families. Away from the farm it's hard to find a better location - just minutes away from Assateague, OC, and Berlin. I also need to give compliments to Mary who went out of her way to return some items we left behind. All in it was the perfect vacation spot for us, would definitely return!
