Location, location, location and gardens! We are centrally located in the Village off bustling Main Street and steps away from Hamlin Park. The Village of East Aurora is one of the best neighborhoods in WNY. Our home is a Sears & Roebuck Catalog Home that was built in 1941 as a 3 family home. Parking limited to one car. The apartment is the upper level and you must be able to make stairs. In our quaint, beautiful village, you can walk to Main St. boutiques, movie theater, restaurants, swanky bars, coffee shops & bakeries. Birthplace of Fisher-Price Toys, Moog, and President Millard Fillmore; we're a community that is passionate about children. Fisher Price Toys is a fundamental piece of East Aurora's long history in industry and manufacturing. East Aurora had several movies filmed here. It's the home to Roycroft, where arts & crafts movement began. We offer a tandem kayak during your stay. Catch a Sabres Hockey, Buffalo Bills or Bisons game. We are 20 minutes from downtown Buffalo and neighboring suburb to Orchard Park. Stroll Niagara Falls State Park, hike the Gorge or Devil's hole or our neighboring Sinking Ponds. Find the eternal flame at Chestnut Ridge Park. Pack a picnic. Visit the Power Vista, Zoo, Aquarium, Darwin Martin House, or catch a show at Sheas Theater. Rent a floatmingo at Hoyt Lake overseeing the beautiful Japanese gardens. Visit the Science or History Museum or our Albright Knox Art Gallery. Spend a day on the trails of our Wineries, Breweries, and distilleries. There is so much to see and do. It will literally take you months to see. Walk to every establishment in the village. Often you'll find movie films being made on Main Street in the village because of its original 1800's feel. We are chock full with history. Known for our red brick Main Street, locally owned friendly bars, restaurants, Vidler's original 5 & 10 (the shop is the largest five-and-dime store in the world, with 75,000 items spread through 4 buildings on 2 levels) coffee houses, speakeasies, family oriented, and no open container law. Our neighborhood is friendly with beautiful Hamlin Park (playground), just steps away from the house. We have 2 small, friendly rescue dogs. We are both working hybrid and have 5 grandchildren that visit and if we are lucky enough, stay the night. We enjoy traveling and staying in vacation rentals versus hotels because we like blending into the community, meeting hosts, and the feel of a spacious home. We are foodies and enjoy fine dining and dives. We make wine for fun as a hobby and enjoy gardening, entertaining, and hosting. When our children were young, we hosted 17 children from abroad spanning across 18 years. We are very down to earth people and enjoy meeting others and hope you'll be our guest!

We have a tandem kayak for guest use. We are walkable to all the amenities in the Village. Uber, Lyft or ask us! If we are available, we can get you to and from the airport or train or a special event.
