Cannot express how much we loved this beach home! It was the perfect size for our family of 8 and the location was unbeatable. We travel to Waldport often and have always wanted to stay in Bayshore. The home was clean and honestly looked even better than the online photos. There is a direct path to the ocean front from the back porch of the home, it was a little challenging to climb down the sand hill to get there but we made a new path and it worked for the remainder of our stay. Sweet homes was responsive and helpful with questions that popped up on the trip. We cannot wait to stay here again ☺️

The location is great, the host is not. The kitchen was dirty and we found unclean dishes/pots/pans, a first for us both having traveled all over the world in AirBNB's. No big deal, just throw them in the dishwasher right? Open the dishwasher and its missing parts- enough parts that the machine obviously won't run. What is going on? We have enough clean baby supplies to handle putting our child down to sleep, but rely on the dishwasher for sanitizing our supplies, not to mention cleaning the large amount of dishes four adults and a toddler makes in a tiny, outdated kitchen. We called the host, texted, left messages, wrote in AirBNB messages and didn't get anything back even the next day. We got some excuses that the property manager was on vacation, got offered a very run down replacement stay that wouldn't fit the five of us, and then they ghosted. Nice area, avoid Sweet Homes though.

The location of this house is truly second-to-none - the beach and the ocean are right there and stretch for miles. We saw whales and schools of seals right in our backyard, which was incredible. The house itself is older, and while it was well-decorated, it is in need of a refresh, particularly the kitchen. The appliances are old and in need of replacement, and dishwasher flooded onto the floor during our first use of it, so we had to hand-wash dishes the remainder of our stay. The host was responsive to our comments on the issue but did not take any steps to address it. While the ocean proximity comes with a price tag, the home did not fully live up to its cost in our opinion. Still an awesome spot to stay if surf and sand is your top priority.

Beautiful Beautiful! Kitchen is dated but they did a great job of updating rooms, bathrooms, so that it feels clean and cozy. Master bedroom mattress had a huge lump in middle and not comfortable. But all else was great.

Amazing location!! View from the top floor is of the ocean and is gorgeous, first floor is of the dunes. Kids loved playing on the dunes! It’s about a 3-4 minute walk to the water, isn’t too easy of a walk but totally doable for most in our group! The pool was much appreciated, open from 130-430 each day for rental guests and is heated to 87 degrees which was so nice! The only non updated part of the house is the kitchen but is totally usable and has every possible appliance and gadget needed! Lovely stay and responsive hosts!
