It is located next to the Museum of Mikheil Khergiani and near the 10th century church of Christ's Transfiguration. We also have breakfast, dinner and restaurant services (which include Georgian cuisine) or you can prepare your meal in the shared kitchen. You can reach: Cafes, Bars and stores by a 5 minute walk from here. Our local guides will answer your questions about tours and trails. We sell: Svanish salt, souvenirs and paintings to our guests. We will be happy to host you! My place is unique with it's amazing location in Mestia. When you will look around you will notice that you are guarded by Svanish clan towers and you can see from this place the tallest one in whole Svaneti which belongs to my clan (Barliani). Here everybody speaks: English and Russian. This house was built by my father Muradi Barliani in svanish style, that means your room is fully wooden inside, which is good for your health. Muradi is a painter and an ex-alpinist. He will share his hiking experience with you and show you the trails. My mother and my sisters will prepare delicious georgian dishes for you and even teach you cooking in our style. And about myself, I know history of Georgia, folk music and I'm a professional dancer of georgian dances. I will tell you about amazing legends of Svaneti and historical events. To sum up: hiking, tours, georgian cuisine, gallery, history, legends, folk music and dances. You can find everything here!

A beautiful family home tucked away from the crowded and noisy tourist center, with stunning views and nature around! Luka is very impressive - he has a great knowledge of svanish and georgian history and passion for other people and cultures. we enjoyed our time with him so much! His mother and sister Anna are amazing cooks - we had breakfast and hearty homemade 3-course dinners every night (the vegetables and fruits were from their garden - so delicious !!!) The room was cosy, clean and comfortable and it was great to have a private bathroom. The hammock under a pear tree facing the mountains was a special spot to read my book. Also dont miss a visit to the 8th century church behind his house (luka can give you a private tour!) or the mikhail khergiani museum next door. We had the most lovely time with Luka and his family - they were so hospitable and helpful. I can only highly recommend to stay here if you’re in Mestia and meet this warm, loving family.
Toute la famille aux petits soins, dans un environnement champêtre et typique. La mère de Luka propose une excellente cuisine locale avec que des produits de la montagne ou du jardin. Le père de Luka, étant très bon chauffeur, vous pourrez lui demander pour un prix honnête de vous faire visiter les environs. Luka lui-même est un bon organisateur, traducteur pour les francophones, en plus d'être attachant et chaleureux. On vous recommande vivement ce séjour.

Hey! My name is Luka. Well, who is Luka? He is a man who loves to exchange his knowledge with others and to meet new people. Long story short, I'm a professional dancer in Georgian folk dances, a pro guitar player and I'll be your guide in Mestia! I know my hometown almost like myself, therefore I will be happy to help my guests to organize their trips.
