We had the best time celebrating with family and friends in this wonderful character filled home. We found the house was well equipped and very clean, full of the charm that comes with a house built in 1490. We had some nice weather days so got to appreciate the lovely garden too. The Indian restaurant was fabulous, their food and service was top class. We have all come home with bumps on our heads from the low beams but a small bruise was absolutely worth the experience. Gus responded quickly to all communication which was appreciated. Headcorn ticks so many boxes, lovely walks, lovely village Baker and Butcher, a Local Sainsburys and so much more. Fantastic holiday Thank you Gus.

Agree somewhat on some of the previous reveiws. It is very relaxing and everything worked such as toilets, hot shower, kitchen appliances, heating, wifi easy setup using QR code displayed on the wall in the snug. Beautiful character house with a very large competely enclosed garden ideal for a dog. Location perfect and easy walk to the high st.

Great value, charming, characterful home as described, but we should have heeded the mention of low beams! We all hit our heads a number of times (5’7, 5’10 and 6’) and my husband was constantly stooping / enjoying the excuse of not helping in the kitchen because he couldn’t stand up! The house is on the main high street so pro of being ultra convenient for Sainsbury’s but con was the constant traffic noise. All the bedrooms face onto the road except the bunk room (children loved this!). I guess the building must be listed so the windows are only single glazed but shutters in four of the five bedrooms helped block out some of the noise. There are three separate sitting room areas which is kind of fun, but not big enough / enough seats for everyone to be together eg. two TVs but a squash to get more than three people watching. Lots of useful pots and pans in the kitchen, two fridges (one with door shelves), separate freezer, useful cloths and cleaning products so easy to live in.
