Avril and John were both lovely and welcoming and the summer house was perfect. The bathroom is much bigger than you would expect, as is the living/bedroom space. The garden is beautiful and it is so quiet and peaceful. Thank you Avril and John

Avril's summer house is a hidden gem . It is strategically located in the Chapel-en-le-Frith, which is 10-30mins drive from many famous walks and towns in Peak District and provides many alternate choices in a wet weather. It was pouring heavily at Kinder Scout during my visit and I changed plan to visit Eyam village , Monsal Trail and Mam Tor . The summer house has everything you need, and it is immaculately clean. Avril and John are very responsive to all my messages. They are very friendly and easy going , even offer early check in and late check out. I would definitely recommend Avril's summer house!

I can't say enough good things about my weekend in the summerhouse. Private, cozy, comfy, peaceful and matched my requirements perfectly, - it was exactly what I needed. But what made it all the more special was Avril and John. Special, genuine people, and wonderful hosts. I left feeling like I'd known them for ages, and I'm really looking forward to coming back again soon. Thanks so much for your warmth and hospitality, Avril and John. Best wishes and take care. Avril and john are indeed superhosts. On arrival i was greeted with a cup of tea and offer of wine. this sociability continued throughout my stayand was most welcome as I was out working with young people fromearly morning til late evening in wet weather (thunder/lightning inc.) The accommodation itself was everything stated and more, with access to a lovely garden and barbeque although the weather denied me the opportunity to use. it was however nice to sit on the porch with a cup of tea before leaving in the morning working out what the weather would be doing. I don't think I'll be camping or using a hotel again in the Peak District if this property is available. I also got to view the 4 person (2x double beds) self contained apartment which is of the same high standard and will perhaps be returning sooner than anticipated with family members. My best regards to Avril and John for making my stay both comfortable and enjoyable.
