Villa Karina is a beautiful place to say and Karina is incredibly responsive, which was much appreciated. The check in process was totally smooth and we felt safe with the giant porton. The place is a bit older than expected and with that, comes a few things like dirty corners and dated bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we could ever ask for except the actual food essentials like coffee/salt/pepper/oil. Lastly, the power did go out a couple of time for ~5-10 minutes.... it came right back on so this wasn't that disruptive but it was odd. Also, the beds are incredibly comfortable!

Karina’s place is espectacular!! The location is excellent, just a couple minutes away from the beautiful beach of Carrillo. The house is amazing!! The house has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The layout of the house is very functional, allowing many people to be there without running into each other. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. We had a large family and we made several meals here. Every rooms has AC and the beds are very comfy. The place has a beautiful pool and deck area. The pool water was pretty chilly which can be great when it gets very warm outside. The outside area is carefully manicure and well-maintained. It is beautiful! The best part of this place is the view. Wow!! It is amazing!!! The pictures in here don’t really show the espectacular view that this place has. The view is breathtaking. We enjoyed getting up and watching the sunrise and later the sunsets from here. It is just beautiful. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

Beautiful home, great location and view. Minimal contact with host, actually no real contact or response until day before checkout. No AC on main floor, only in bedrooms. House manager welcomed us with yummy fruit juice and cookies, was sweet. Has apt to be a great place with much needed warmth from host and price that shows value. We booked last minute, believe owner would have much more renters if price lower.

Reservamos este lugar con al menos 4 meses de anticipación para disfrutar de unas vacaciones en familia (inclusive las primeras de nuestro bebé) de la mejor manera posible, para que terminaran conviertiéndose en una de las peores experiencias vividas en Costa Rica. Una semana antes del viaje todo estaba en orden, y el propio día de la llegada, justo llegando a la playa, nos informan que se ha cancelado la reserva por lo que al final de día asumimos que fue un error enorme entre la dueña de la casa y las personas que administraban la propiedad en Airbnb. Aunque nos dieron un reembolso total, se convirtió en una experiencia muy estresante tener a tu familia en un lugar sin seguridad de donde hospedarlos. Jamás podremos recomendar este lugar y no le deseamos a nadie que en el futuro vaya a vivir una experiencia como esta. SARCASMO: Gracias por nada a quien quiera que sea que maneje este hospedaje, Karina, Katterine, Jonathan, Alex o quien sea que esté al mando!!! ------------------------------- We booked this place at least 4 months in advance to enjoy a family holiday (including our baby's first) in the best possible way, so that they end up becoming one of the worst experiences lived in Costa Rica. A week before the trip everything was in order, and on the day of arrival, just arriving at the beach, they inform us that the reservation has been canceled so at the end of the day we assumed that it was a huge mistake among the owner of the house and the people who managed the property on Airbnb. Although they gave us a full refund, it became a very stressful experience to have your family in an unsecured place to stay. We can never recommend this place and we do not wish anyone that in the future will live an experience like this.
