If a naturally beautiful and peaceful place with an amazing view of both the sea and the mountains is the first thing that comes to your mind each time you daydream about your vacation, then my family and I will be glad to welcome you to Vourvourou in Halkidiki in Greece, my friends! We will be happy to offer you not only rooms with easy access to beautiful beaches, but also a warm and friendly host-guest relationship. So, if you’re interested, keep reading to find out more about the rooms. Ensuite room on the second floor: It’s a big and cozy room (30m2) on the 2nd floor of a summerhouse. The room has a double bed, a bathroom (sink, toilet, shower), a loft with a mattress for one person, and two big balconies for dining or chilling out while enjoying the view. Therefore, the room is suitable for a couple or for a couple with a kid. Moreover, the room has its own kitchen that is located on the same floor, at one of the two balconies. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a kettle, a cooking hob, and a sandwich toaster for your everyday needs. Furthermore, there is a barbecue in the garden, which you can share with the other guests too. Unfortunately, the room has no internet at the moment, but one can get internet access in the nearby restaurants and cafés. Another important thing one needs to have in mind, is that smoking is not allowed inside the house, and that toilet paper and litter in general should not be thrown in the toilet. There is shortage of drinkable water for a certain amount of hours every day during the Summer, so it is advisable to use water bottles. To make it easier for you, we‘ll bring you some bottles on the first day. However, taking showers will not be a problem. Finally, the minimum stay time in the room is 3 nights, and for the use of the washing machine you will need to buy your own laundry detergent and clothes softener. Please do not use any other type of cleaning means (e.g. detergent for the dishes) as it might cause a malfunction to the washing machine!

Anastasia's place is a self contained apartment. It's very comfortable, with lots of doors and windows that makes it feel as if you where outside. The view of the pine covered hills is incredibly relaxing. It's also worth noting that the terrace is the best spot in the apartment, we spend lots of evenings there! Anastasia was incredibly helpful giving us recommendations around the area and beyond.
Anastasia and her parents are wonderful hosts. Their charming home is located in a quiet area among olive trees :) The accommodation was clean and very cozy. Without a doubt a highlight of our stay was the balcony with its open kitchen offering an amazing view of the mountains and sea. Our favourites were Karidi and Fava beaches which were around 20-30 minutes by foot. Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay :)
Дом Анастасии и ее родителей вполне подходит для жилья с одним ребенком от 8 лет и старше. Хозяева очень приветливы, но были небольшие минусы, которые мас не устраивали. Хозяева не допускают никакого шума, большое количество комаров, если вы любители гриля, то отдохнуть около него вам не удасться и прийдется нести тарелки на второй этаж, где входная дверь постоянно должна быть заперта, за две недели прибывания у нас в комнате не уберались, так же нам не хватало маленького холодильника. Из плюсов это доброжелательные хозяева, всегда улыбались и дарили сыну небольшие подарочки, есть хороший кондиционер, есть все необходимое для приготовления еды, есть фен, с балкона видно море и красота Вурвуру. Спасибо Анастасии и ее родителям за гостеприимство!
The stay was very pleasant! The hosts (Anastasia’s parents) showed a hospitality rarely seen nowadays. They were very friendly, always ready to solve any issue that may arrive. The house is located in a quite area, but close to some famous beaches. We hope to return there :-) Thank you for everything!
It was a wonderful stay, the apartment was cosy and had a nice view to the sea and to the mountains. Maria and Yorgos were really nice hosts and helped us a lot.

Anastasia's summer house is located in Vourvourou, Halkidiki, Sithonia, Greece.
Vourvourou is a unique destination in Halkidiki as it is flanked by lands with pine trees and exotic beaches with blue-green water. You can rent a boat from Vourvourou bay and reach Diaporos island or enjoying kayak. Except Vourvourou beach , that is adcacent to the house, Karidi beach and Fava beach are photogenic beaches, sandy with calm water, easily accessed on foot from the house.
A wide range of beaches exist nearby the house such as Trani Ammouda, Zografou, Lagonisi, while organised beach bars can be reached by car such as Bahia , Rodia, Talgo in a radius of 8-15 km. Armenistis camping site is located 15 km away from Vourvourou.
Vourvourou offers everything you need for your stay, such as restaurants, fish taverns, pizzerias, beach bars and supermarkets.
There is a bus stop for commuting towards other places and beaches of Chalkidiki and from/towards Thessaloniki three times per day.
