We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house right by the sea. Aldeburgh is so lovely and we were near where we wanted to go- walked to Thorpeness- went to Snape Maltings and Orford as well as Southwold. A packed week en and so nice to have such a lovely base. Highly recommend it.

We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay at the Boat House. Great location, across the road from the beach and the high street. We were a family of 4 which worked great, though for 6 people it might be a little cosy and with only 1 bathroom. There was a slight greasy smell which appeared to come from the property, a good airing out would probably resolve. The goodies and later check out much appreciated. Overall we had a wonderful stay and lucky that the sun was out for the weekend!

The Boat House is so well situated in Aldeburgh for exploring the town and visiting the many pubs, shops and cafes. It’s literally a stones throw from the beach. Also great to explore further afield. We reallly enjoyed Thorpeness and Southwold.

We really enjoyed our two nights at the Beach House - it’s perfectly located with the beach on your doorstep and the shops and restaurants a minute’s walk away. The house has lots of lovely little touches - we really appreciated the wine, beer and crisps on arrival and the little coffee pods for the mornings! The kids loved the bits in the garden shed, the books and the board games too. We’d highly recommend a short stay here - you’re only half an hours drive from Southwold too! Thank you - we wouldn’t hesitate to come again and will be recommending you to our friends and family.
