Lovely peaceful location right on the river and the Virginia Creeper Trail. It was wonderful for a friend getaway, would also be great for a family.
This was our third stay at Connie’s place. This is by far our favorite Airbnb. The location is perfection, peaceful surroundings right off the Creeper trail. It has everything you need to feel at home. Our only complaint is that we had to leave. Will be planning another trip to Connie’s place soon!
The River House is such a great place to stay for a getaway. Our family always enjoys our time there. It is in a wonderful location, peaceful, clean and provides all the comforts of home. Connie is a great host and is very responsive. Always a favorite for us.
Stayed here in March for a weekend fishing trip. The house and property were great! Lots of space, with river right out the front door and the trail just on the other side of the river.
Beautiful house in a beautiful and quiet location. Directly on the river with easy parking and plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of space and detailed instructions for everything.

I am a retired elementary school teacher of 37 years. My husband and I have been married for 48 years. We have 2 sons and 2 grandchildren. We own 2 vacation rental properties on The Virginia Creeper Trail between Damascus and Abingdon on our cattle farm of 130 acres. We love meeting the guests which use our rentals and have made many friends over the years. We definitely respect other people's privacy when staying with us. We enjoy traveling with our family. We are country folks who like fresh air and clean living.
