Our family loved our week's stay at Patrick's cottage. It was a perfect spot for two grandparents to visit with their son, daughter-in-law, and grandchild. The bedrooms are at opposite sides of the house and allow a good bit of privacy for two couples, so we didn't feel we were crowding each other. The roomy kitchen and deck (with grill and nice umbrellas for shade) are very well organized and nicely stocked, including with welcome gifts. And we absolutely loved hanging out each night around a fire in the fire pit, with a wealth of firewood available. Best of all were the many thoughtful toys, games, and crafts stored in a chest just for kids in the family room. Our granddaughter never tired of all the things to do, even when inclement weather kept us indoors. Port Sydney, its beach, and the nearby falls and rapids are also charming and walkable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and hope to return. Thanks, Patrick for being such a kind and attentive host!

Great Place and Great Hosts. They Left a bottle of wine, a few local beers and some Muskoka Coffee as a welcome greeting. Nice and close to the beach. Great cottage with wi-fi and Laundry. The cottage sleeps 8 comfortably and it is nice and quiet in the evening. Nice firepit to spend the evening making smores with the kids. There was a storm that went through the area and a big tree branch came down on a little inn a few doors down and Patrick contacted us to make sure that we were good and everything was good. Great Place, will love to come back again.

Patrick was a wonderful host and the cottage was just right. We arrived for the Thanksgiving weekend to find a nice bottle of wine and local maple syrup waiting for us . Patrick was quick to address any questions we had although there wasnt much to ask! He has a well appointed cottage equiped with everything you need for your stay. We appreciated the gas fire place as it was a cool weekend ! And the fire pit has lots of chairs and wood available. The kitchen was well stocked as well. We used the cottage as a home base and made the quick drive to downtown Huntsville a few times , and found a few beautiful spot for a walk along the Hunters Bay trail -- that was beautiful and has large sections of floating walkway . The cottage was a 30 second drive or a 5 minute walk to a very kid friendly beach , with dock for swimming. It was a wonderful weekend !

Cozy family cottage within walking distance to the beach in Port Sydney. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. We appreciated the big table for card and board games. Nice private deck with a big umbrella to sit outside and enjoy the summer weather. Lots of walking trails and tennis courts making it a fun place to vacation.
