Valerie was a great host. She was extremely helpful and kind. My trip was so great because of her recommendations and fast response time. She went out of her way to make sure that I was satisfied with my stay. Great experience for my first Airbnb rental.

Stylish and immaculate unit in a safe neighborhood close to USC. It's conventional wisdom that the neighborhoods around USC aren't safe, but nothing could be further from the truth in this case. Valerie's place is 1.6 miles from USC village, and her unit and in fact every home in the neighborhood was well maintained and cared for. Some of the homes in my neighborhood don't show the same care. This is a family neighborhood. If you want to walk from a unit to a neighborhood restaurant or tavern, this isn't your place. The closes places are fast food joints a few blocks away in one of the sun-faded strip malls that are ubiquitous in Los Angeles. I arrived on Halloween for USC family weekend and when I returned to the apartment after dinner with my daughter, there were teems of children out in costume trick or treating. So cute. I was only sorry I didn't have a bag of candy or I would have happily participated. The unit itself was well decorated, very clean, and had all the necessary kitchen supplies, e.g., plates and glassware, you could ask for. The living room and bedroom were very comfortable. It was also very quiet. The guy staying upstairs had music going most of the day, which was a minor annoyance, but it was quiet and very peaceful at night. I'd stay here again.
