We stayed here for my husbands 30th birthday. We brought our dogs and had such a refreshing week! The camper was nice, though we spent most time outside. A very private location with access directly to the river gave us exactly what we were looking for. Our dogs could be off leash the entire time, go swimming and dry in the sun. We were able to see them at all times with the open layout. The kayaks were amazing, even with the river being dropped for maintenance. We loved it here and have been telling everyone about it since we stayed! We will definitely be back for another vacation.

We had some mishaps with our trip and Chad and Kelly were awesome about it all!! (None of it was their fault at all). They handled everything very professionally. They were very understanding. The place is very secluded and the surroundings are beautiful. Short drive into town where everyone we ran into was wonderful! Cleanest outhouse we have ever seen!! Wow! Thank you for being such caring hosts!

The setting is beautiful. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boat, & fishing boat. Chad was very responsive to our questions & went over & above to be certain we had everything we needed for our stay. He even brought us the fixings for s’mores. Having said that, it’s a camper. Keep that in mind so expectations are not unrealistic.

We had a great stay at Chad and Kelly’s place. The communication leading up to it was detailed, and the few remaining questions I had were answered quickly. As we were traveling from out of state, they even offered to supply us with some things that would have been tough to bring in already stuffed luggage! There were multiple boats for use and plenty of life jackets for different sizes. The river is lake-sized out front, allowing plenty of space and line-of-sight for supervised kiddo recreation while a parent’s grilling under the beautiful trees. My eldest only stopped fishing long enough to eat, and caught some beauties both out in the paddle boat, and right off the dock. The location is gorgeous, private, and there’s plenty of room to stretch out. Having coffee on the dock at sunrise or enjoying s’mores around the bonfire pit under the stars were equally memorable. The trailer was cozy, had most everything we needed, and was perfect in the big rainstorm we had! Excellent trip!
