Beautiful farmhouse in a stunning location. Perfect for our toddler as well, stair gates already in place. It was lovely to stay in an old building with character, and to sit out in the garden and take in the views. Would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic rural location yet only five miles from Buxton. An excellent spot to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of modern day life. The photographs accurately portray the farmhouse as is, so I’m a bit surprised by some of the reviews that bemoan the property being somewhat dated - the photos show this. We found the farmhouse utterly charming l. The bed was very comfortable, we slept soundly. A thoroughly restful, enjoyable stay and we hope to stay again!

before I start I would like to say that I would stay here again with my partner said she would even bring her girls. the place it self is quite hard to find in the dark, but that's just because it's in the middle or nowhere. maybe a sign on the main road would help with that issue if aloud. we ended up trying to get in the wrong house. house itself, just like the pictures however there is also a shower that was a pleasant surprise. Best parts, the darkness, so quiet you can here your heartbeat. bathroom was our favourite room as its clean moden and has a free standing deep bath. 4post bed in main room was very comfortable and the room itself was a good size. the fire once we got it started was an added bonus as the house is rather chilly even with the heating on. carpet had a lot of bruns and looked a little worn. fire stick didn't work, however we just used normal TV as was only for a short time so we didn't want to bother the host. over all happy with what we got. We decided to go away for a few days after a recent family bereavement and this cottage ticked all the boxes. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings, but only 5 Miles from Buxton. A lovely warm and cosy cottage with a comfy bed. Excellent directions from Tiffany and we were met at the cottage moments after arrival. Thank you for a lovely stay and we would love to come back again.
