My wife, 16 month daughter and I recently stayed for a long weekend and had a great time. The barn is lovely, lots of character and a good size. Nice views across the valley and quiet. Great location away from the busier areas but still a couple of pubs/restaurants within 5-10 minutes drive, and lots of great walking from the door or within a short drive. Only minor issue for us is that there are steps down to the doors in kitchen and lounge, and from the landing and bedroom, making it tricky with our 16 month old who has recently started walking but hasn't mastered steps yet. There are baby gates on the stairs but we still had to be careful. It wouldn't be any issue for people with younger or older children I wouldn't expect. The driveway down to the barn is very bumpy, although Sam did message to let us know about this so we knew to take it very slow.

Another idyllic stay in an idyllic location. No better place to experience the best of the Peaks.

The location of this cottage is perfect to explore Peak District. You can even walk to Lud’s church, The Roaches and Three Shires Head. The house had everything I needed to spend wonderful days. Couldn’t expect better place, very peaceful, with fantastic views. I will certainly book again when back to this area.

The place is great and in a perfect location for exploring the Peak District. The cottage was a good size and comfortable with everything you would need. The directions and access are easy to find and although the access drive is on a slope it is simple to navigate. We did have an unexpected problem with the boiler while we stayed and Samantha was quick to respond and was able to get someone out quickly to resolve it and regularly checked in after it was fixed.

This place is Amazing! Very remote and so tranquil! Will be returning for sure!
