This is the first time I have had to write a negative review but sadly this apartment was a big disappointment. The host ignored all my messages prior to check-in and despite saying in the listing the host would be there to check us in no-one showed up. Travelling from the UK to South Africa and not knowing if we could get into the apartment was very stressful. On arrival we discovered that the swimming pool was green, filthy and unusable. When I complained to the host they did finally respond but said it wasn’t their responsibility. The pool was a key amenity and highlighted in the listing but was completely unusable for the entire booking period. Aside from this the apartment interior and furniture is looking a bit tired and it is on a noisy road. Finally there are access issues - stairs with 45 steps to get to the apartment and no lift so this presented a real problem getting our suitcases to the apartment. I would not recommend this apartment

By far this was my best Airbnb experience! The place was fantastic, location great. I would stay longer if available. Communication is different but you just need to speak to reception and they take care of everything. Love that they keep your luggage if you check out early.

I had a beautiful stay. Everything was clean and in order. Restaurants were a stroll away and things to do were in walking distance. I loved that the place was super clean and everything we needed was there. I loved everything about this place.
