Loved Albertus’s place, the views of Bo Kaap and table mountain were incredible

I’m not the one to complain on public spaces however this host is very unkind. I was to check in on the 13th of April, my flight was missed that morning, totally my fault. I contacted the host on the 12th of April at 10am in the morning and my checkin was 3pm on the 13th. I informed the host on what happened at the airport and that I was not checking in on the 13th due to that reason. I asked for a refund for the one extra day that I was not staying, this host refused. According to Airbnb you should give a 24hrs notice if there any changes that needs to be made which I did however both Airbnb and the host did not honor my request for a refund. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of every penny however the most important thing for me is happy customer. If a customer is treated the way I was treated, I personally won’t recommend the business to anyone else. I understand I alone might not stop this host from doing business which is not my intent but be nice.

Amazing stay, the high ratings from others who have stayed there before are accurate! The place is more beautiful in person, absolutely gorgeous view! Modern furniture, super clean, great security, clear check-in and check-out. Definitely reccomend and will stay there again!

Very nice apartment with a stunning view on Bo-kaap, table mountain, and lions head. Service is superb. Only downside: on the streets behind the building, I didn’t feel very safe. Front is ok. Fortunately, the building has good security personnel.

Place was as described. Great communication and key handover. Panaromic views, airconditioning and no loadshedding cannot be beaten. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We shall be back!
