For two adults the space was perfect, plenty of room and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and there were all the facilities that you would want! The garden was beautiful, spacious and private, with a shady terrace with lemon trees. The neighbourhood was very peaceful and was less than 5 minutes walk to get to the centre of town. I would definitely recommend this place for your visit to Sitia.

What a fantastic place, very rustic, looks just like the pics! The hosts were VERY accommodating with our later arrival (due to the fact that ferries in Greece cannot arrive within an hour of their supposed times)! They left a generous welcome package, raki, cookies, fruit, yogurt water and juice! So thoughtful! They also had the mosquito liquid stuff for us, although that stiff barely works anyways - but nice touch! Furthermore, they left a baby cot and extra toys even though we didn’t request anything, very much above and beyond! Thank you! The fact that this place has parking is another huge bonus! The streets of Sitia are like most cities in Crete - terribly small! The place is private, you get a whole yard to yourself. I do have to say that it’s hard to enjoy outdoor dining because of the flies and mosquitoes, which are in many places in Crete anyways. A couple drawbacks: while the house is very old school Cretan and rustic, the doors are old and do not keep noise out:(

A lovely cozy place with a beautiful garden and so much space. Would be perfect for a family with kids! Feels like staying at grandmas little paradise. They left us fruits and snacks and raki and made us feel right at home. Easy walk into town and the seaside as well.

Overall, it is a great place to stay. It's a refurbished traditional house that's very welcoming, with a nice courtyard and it can fit up to 5 guests. The location is very quiet even though it's very close to the Sitia's center. All places (cafes, restaurants, shops and the fort Kazarma) are in walking distance. The only downside I can find, with respect to the house, is that the bathroom is a separate building (in the courtyard) that is directly under the sun, so it gets very hot and humid during the day. With respect to the host, Georgia seems like a great person but she was a bit late to respond. That somewhat affected me in the first 2 days because I couldn't access the WiFi.

The house was perfect. It was beautiful, fully equiped and had a traditional sense. The garden was really nice. It was located in a perfect spot and the parking spot helped a lot.
